詩篇 Psalms 37 : 1-9, 11, 16, 18, 21-24, 26-31, 33-34, 37, 39-40
37:1 （大衛的詩。）不要為作惡的心懷不平，也不要向那行不義的生出嫉妒。
A Psalm of David. Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.
37:2 因為他們如草快被割下，又如青菜快要枯乾。
For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.
37:3 你當倚靠耶和華而行善，住在地上，以他的信實為糧；
Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. verily: Heb. in truth, or, stableness
37:4 又要以耶和華為樂，他就將你心裡所求的賜給你。
Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
37:5 當將你的事交託耶和華，並倚靠他，他就必成全。
Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. Commit...: Heb. Roll thy way upon
37:6 他要使你的公義如光發出，使你的公平明如正午。
And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.
37:7 你當默然倚靠耶和華，耐性等候他；不要因那道路通達的和那惡謀成就的心懷不平。
Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. Rest in: Heb. Be silent to
37:8 當止住怒氣，離棄忿怒；不要心懷不平，以致作惡。
Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.
37:9 因為作惡的必被剪除；惟有等候耶和華的必承受地土。
For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.
37:11 但謙卑人必承受地土，以豐盛的平安為樂。
But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
37:16 一個義人所有的雖少，強過許多惡人的富餘。
A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked.
37:18 耶和華知道完全人的日子；他們的產業要存到永遠。
The LORD knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever.
37:21 惡人借貸而不償還；義人卻恩待人，並且施捨。
The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth.
37:22 蒙耶和華賜福的必承受地土；被他咒詛的必被剪除。
For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off.
37:23 義人的腳步被耶和華立定；他的道路，耶和華也喜愛。
The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. ordered: or, established
37:24 他雖失腳也不致全身仆倒，因為耶和華用手攙扶他（或譯：攙扶他的手）。
Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.
37:26 他終日恩待人，借給人；他的後裔也蒙福！
He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed. ever: Heb. all the day
37:27 你當離惡行善，就可永遠安居。
Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore.
37:28 因為，耶和華喜愛公平，不撇棄他的聖民；他們永蒙保佑，但惡人的後裔必被剪除。
For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.
37:29 義人必承受地土，永居其上。
The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever.
37:30 義人的口談論智慧；他的舌頭講說公平。
The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment.
37:31 神的律法在他心裡；他的腳總不滑跌。
The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide. steps: or, goings
37:33 耶和華必不撇他在惡人手中；當審判的時候，也不定他的罪。
The LORD will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged.
37:34 你當等候耶和華，遵守他的道，他就抬舉你，使你承受地土；惡人被剪除的時候，你必看見。
Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it .
37:37 你要細察那完全人，觀看那正直人，因為和平人有好結局。
Mark the perfect man , and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.
37:39 但義人得救是由於耶和華；他在患難時作他們的營寨。
But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble.
37:40 耶和華幫助他們，解救他們；他解救他們脫離惡人，把他們救出來，因為他們投靠他。
And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.

143:1 大衛的詩。）耶和華啊，求你聽我的禱告，留心聽我的懇求，憑你的信實和公義應允我。
143:1 A Psalm of David. Hear my prayer, O LORD, give ear to my supplications: in thy faithfulness answer me, and in thy righteousness.
143:5 我追想古時之日，思想你的一切作為，默念你手的工作。
143:5 I remember the days of old; I meditate on all thy works; I muse on the work of thy hands.
143:6 我向你舉手；我的心渴想你，如乾旱之地盼雨一樣。（細拉）
143:6 I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah.
143:7 耶和華啊，求你速速應允我！我心神耗盡！不要向我掩面，免得我像那些下坑的人一樣。
143:7 Hear me speedily, O LORD: my spirit faileth: hide not thy face from me, lest I be like unto them that go down into the pit. lest...: or, for I am become like, etc
143:8 求你使我清晨得聽你慈愛之言，因我倚靠你；求你使我知道當行的路，因我的心仰望你。

讀經 : 啟示錄 21 : 1~4 Revelation 21 : 1~4
21:1 我又看見一個新天新地；因為先前的天地已經過去了，海也不再有了。
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
21:2 我又看見聖城新耶路撒冷由神那裡從天而降，預備好了，就如新婦妝飾整齊，等候丈夫。
And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
21:3 我聽見有大聲音從寶座出來說：看哪，神的帳幕在人間。他要與人同住，他們要作他的子民。神要親自與他們同在，作他們的神。And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
21:4 神要擦去他們一切的眼淚；不再有死亡，也不再有悲哀、哭號、疼痛，因為以前的事都過去了。
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

在2006年，菲菲曾因為過敏而造成心跳停止，那一次是她生命中最接近死亡的經歷。她向倫敦日報的伊莉莎白重述這段經歷：「有一個恐怖的怪物拖著我，要帶我進入死亡的大門，而醫生卻把我拉回來了。」她說：「如果那就是死亡，我不想要再經歷一次了。」菲菲認為這經驗「和死亡極為類似，只不過有更多的掙扎」。
通常，死亡的過程就是一種掙扎。但是身為基督徒的我們卻不必懼怕死亡，因為死亡會將我們帶到天堂。在啟示錄中，約翰以美好的描述告訴我們，在永恆中與上帝同在會是什麼樣子（21章1-4節）。他看見新耶路撒冷由上帝那裏從天而降。耶路撒冷城是上帝揀選的百姓居住之地，也是指上帝居所

76:2 在撒冷有他的帳幕；在錫安有他的居所。In Salem also is his tabernacle, and his dwelling place in Zion.
而新耶路撒冷不是人手所建造的，那是上帝要與祂百姓同住到永恆之地，在那裏沒有痛苦、憂傷和病痛。
對於永恆的事，我們知道的實在不多。但是我們確實知道，無論基督徒現在有多少身心靈的煎熬，到時候都會停止。與上帝同在的生命，會比現在好上千萬倍。MW
在那裡沒有眼淚、恐懼，
在那裡沒有病痛、憂傷；
那是一片沒有死亡之地，
那地方，讓我一心嚮往！Anon.
天上的喜樂遠遠超過地上的痛苦。

不再掙扎
讀經 : 啟示錄 21 : 1~4 Revelation 21 : 1~4
21:1 我又看見一個新天新地；因為先前的天地已經過去了，海也不再有了。
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
21:2 我又看見聖城新耶路撒冷由神那裡從天而降，預備好了，就如新婦妝飾整齊，等候丈夫。
And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
21:3 我聽見有大聲音從寶座出來說：看哪，神的帳幕在人間。他要與人同住，他們要作他的子民。神要親自與他們同在，作他們的神。And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
21:4 神要擦去他們一切的眼淚；不再有死亡，也不再有悲哀、哭號、疼痛，因為以前的事都過去了。
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
「上帝要擦去他們一切的眼淚。」

馬太福音 16章 Matthew Chapter 16
在2006年，菲菲曾因為過敏而造成心跳停止，那一次是她生命中最接近死亡的經歷。她向倫敦日報的伊莉莎白重述這段經歷：「有一個恐怖的怪物拖著我，要帶我進入死亡的大門，而醫生卻把我拉回來了。」她說：「如果那就是死亡，我不想要再經歷一次了。」菲菲認為這經驗「和死亡極為類似，只不過有更多的掙扎」。
通常，死亡的過程就是一種掙扎。但是身為基督徒的我們卻不必懼怕死亡，因為死亡會將我們帶到天堂。在啟示錄中，約翰以美好的描述告訴我們，在永恆中與上帝同在會是什麼樣子（21章1-4節）。他看見新耶路撒冷由上帝那裏從天而降。耶路撒冷城是上帝揀選的百姓居住之地，也是指上帝居所
詩篇 76 : 2 Psalms 76 : 2
76:2 在撒冷有他的帳幕；在錫安有他的居所。In Salem also is his tabernacle, and his dwelling place in Zion.
而新耶路撒冷不是人手所建造的，那是上帝要與祂百姓同住到永恆之地，在那裏沒有痛苦、憂傷和病痛。
對於永恆的事，我們知道的實在不多。但是我們確實知道，無論基督徒現在有多少身心靈的煎熬，到時候都會停止。與上帝同在的生命，會比現在好上千萬倍。MW

在那裡沒有病痛、憂傷；
那是一片沒有死亡之地，

14:26 耶和華對摩西說：「你向海伸杖，叫水仍合在埃及人並他們的車輛、馬兵身上。」
And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the sea, that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen.
14:27 摩西就向海伸杖，到了天一亮，海水仍舊復原。埃及人避水逃跑的時候，耶和華把他們推翻在海中，
And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the LORD overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea. overthrew: Heb. shook off
14:28 水就回流，淹沒了車輛和馬兵。那些跟著以色列人下海法老的全軍，連一個也沒有剩下。And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there remained not so much as one of them.
14:29 以色列人卻在海中走乾地；水在他們的左右作了牆垣。
But the children of Israel walked upon dry land in the midst of the sea; and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.
14:30 當日，耶和華這樣拯救以色列人脫離埃及人的手，以色列人看見埃及人的死屍都在海邊了。
Thus the LORD saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians; and Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the sea shore.
14:31 以色列人看見耶和華向埃及人所行的大事，就敬畏耶和華，又信服他和他的僕人摩西。And Israel saw that great work which the LORD did upon the Egyptians: and the people feared the LORD, and believed the LORD, and his servant Moses. work: Heb. hand
15:1 那時，摩西和以色列人向耶和華唱歌說：我要向耶和華歌唱，因他大大戰勝，將馬和騎馬的投在海中。
Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the LORD, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.
15:2 耶和華是我的力量，我的詩歌，也成了我的拯救。這是我的神，我要讚美他，是我父親的神，我要尊崇他。
The LORD is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt him.
「這是我的上帝，我要讚美他。」

Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying,
15:2 「你的門徒為甚麼犯古人的遺傳呢？因為吃飯的時候，他們不洗手。」
Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.
15:3 耶穌回答說：「你們為甚麼因著你們的遺傳犯神的誡命呢？
But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?
15:4 神說：『當孝敬父母』；又說：『咒罵父母的，必治死他。』
For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.
15:5 你們倒說：『無論何人對父母說：我所當奉給你的已經作了供獻，
But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me;
5:6 他就可以不孝敬父母。』這就是你們藉著遺傳，廢了神的誡命。
And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free . Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.
15:7 假冒為善的人哪，以賽亞指著你們說的預言是不錯的。他說：
Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,
15:8 這百姓用嘴唇尊敬我，心卻遠離我；
This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
15:9 他們將人的吩咐當作道理教導人，所以拜我也是枉然。」
But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
15:10 耶穌就叫了眾人來，對他們說：「你們要聽，也要明白。
And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand:
15:11 入口的不能污穢人，出口的乃能污穢人。」Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.
15:12 當時，門徒進前來對他說：「法利賽人聽見這話，不服（原文是跌倒），你知道嗎？」Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying?
15:13 耶穌回答說：「凡栽種的物，若不是我天父栽種的，必要拔出來。
But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.
15:14 任憑他們吧！他們是瞎眼領路的；若是瞎子領瞎子，兩個人都要掉在坑裡。」
Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.
15:15 彼得對耶穌說：「請將這比喻講給我們聽。」Then answered Peter and said unto him, Declare unto us this parable.
15:16 耶穌說：「你們到如今還不明白嗎？
And Jesus said, Are ye also yet without understanding?
15:17 豈不知凡入口的，是運到肚子裡，又落在茅廁裡嗎？
Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?
15:18 惟獨出口的，是從心裡發出來的，這才污穢人。
But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.
15:19 因為從心裡發出來的，有惡念、兇殺、姦淫、苟合、偷盜、妄證、謗讟。
For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:
15:20 這都是污穢人的；至於不洗手吃飯，那卻不污穢人。」
These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.
一天深夜，傑克和特麗莎開車到醫院，特麗莎懷著他們的第二個小孩，雖然預產期還未到，可是特麗莎就要生了！傑克打電話給緊急救援中心，接著在特麗莎分娩的過程中，緊急調度員雪麗透過電話指導傑克。但是，生下來的嬰兒卻沒有呼吸，於是，雪麗立刻指導傑克施行緊急人工呼吸。緊張的6分鐘過去了，終於，小孩開始呼吸並放聲大哭。
事後，有人問他們怎麼保持冷靜而度過難關的，雪麗回答：「感謝上帝，祂在半夜也工作。」
每當好事發生的時候，聽到媒體報導上帝在其中應得的榮耀，我總是特別高興。在今天的經文中，雖然是摩西舉起手杖，但是我們可以清楚知道，是上帝為祂的百姓分開紅海，逃離法老之手（出埃及記14章26-27節）。摩西和全以色列人都聚集起來唱歌讚美耶和華：「耶和華啊，眾神之中誰能像你？誰能像你至聖至榮，可頌可畏，施行奇事？」 ( 15章11節）
當好事發生時，上帝配得頌讚，因為祂是所有美善的源頭，我們應將榮耀歸給祂。上帝半夜也工作豈不令我們歡喜快樂嗎！AMC
人生故事奇妙，
看來似乎湊巧；
那是主在工作，
唯祂配得榮耀。Sper

17:16 保羅在雅典等候他們的時候，看見滿城都是偶像，就心裡著急；
Now while Paul waited for them at Athens, his spirit was stirred in him, when he saw the city wholly given to idolatry. wholly...: or, full of idols
17:17 於是在會堂裡與猶太人和虔敬的人，並每日在市上所遇見的人，辯論。
Therefore disputed he in the synagogue with the Jews, and with the devout persons, and in the market daily with them that met with him.
17:18 還有以彼古羅和斯多亞兩門的學士，與他爭論。有的說：這胡言亂語的要說甚麼？有的說：他似乎是傳說外邦鬼神的。這話是因保羅傳講耶穌與復活的道。

That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:
17:28 我們生活、動作、存留，都在乎他。就如你們作詩的，有人說：我們也是他所生的。For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
17:29 我們既是神所生的，就不當以為神的神性像人用手藝、心思所雕刻的金、銀、石。
Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.
17:30 世人蒙昧無知的時候，神並不監察，如今卻吩咐各處的人都要悔改。
And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
17:31 因為他已經定了日子，要藉著他所設立的人按公義審判天下，並且叫他從死裡復活，給萬人作可信的憑據。
Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men , in that he hath raised him from the dead. hath given...: or, offered faith

And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.
15:28 耶穌說：「婦人，你的信心是大的！照你所要的，給你成全了吧。」從那時候，她女兒就好了。
Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.
15:29 耶穌離開那地方，來到靠近加利利的海邊，就上山坐下。
And Jesus departed from thence, and came nigh unto the sea of Galilee; and went up into a mountain, and sat down there.
15:30 有許多人到他那裡，帶著瘸子、瞎子、啞巴、有殘疾的，和好些別的病人，都放在他腳前；他就治好了他們。
And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus' feet; and he healed them:
15:31 甚至眾人都希奇；因為看見啞巴說話，殘疾的痊癒，瘸子行走，瞎子看見，他們就歸榮耀給以色列的神。
Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel.
15:32 耶穌叫門徒來，說：「我憐憫這眾人，因為他們同我在這裡已經三天，也沒有吃的了。我不願意叫他們餓著回去，恐怕在路上困乏。」Then Jesus called his disciples unto him , and said, I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days, and have nothing to eat: and I will not send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way.
15:33 門徒說：「我們在這野地，那裡有這麼多的餅叫這許多人吃飽呢？」
And his disciples say unto him, Whence should we have so much bread in the wilderness, as to fill so great a multitude?
15:34 耶穌說：「你們有多少餅？」他們說：「有七個，還有幾條小魚。」
And Jesus saith unto them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven, and a few little fishes.
15:35 他就吩咐眾人坐在地上，
And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground.
15:36 拿著這七個餅和幾條魚，祝謝了，擘開，遞給門徒；門徒又遞給眾人。And he took the seven loaves and the fishes, and gave thanks, and brake them , and gave to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.
15:37 眾人都吃，並且吃飽了，收拾剩下的零碎，裝滿了七個筐子。
And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets full.
15:38 吃的人，除了婦女孩子，共有四千。
And they that did eat were four thousand men, beside women and children.
15:39 耶穌叫眾人散去，就上船，來到馬加丹的境界。And he sent away the multitude, and took ship, and came into the coasts of Magdala.
在愛爾蘭都柏林的切斯特比特圖書館 ，藏有許多第二世紀時的古代聖經殘卷，其中所展示的一段殘片就是使徒行傳17章16節。
古卷中所展示的信息與現代無異，彷彿是在讀今天的報紙一樣。這古卷這麼寫道：「保羅在雅典等候他們的時候，看見滿城都是偶像，就心裏著急。」保羅因為古代雅典城遭受偶像的玷污而氣憤，我相信如果保羅今天與我們在一起，他一定也會很難過。
現在世界上的偶像，有些已經和保羅時代的偶像大不相同，諸如財富、名聲、權力、運動員、藝人或是政治人物……，各式各樣的現代偶像。我們的屬靈敵人──撒但，一如往常地試圖將我們從救主那裏擄走，使我們崇拜偶像。基督徒並非免疫，因此我們更應保守自己的心懷意念，千萬不要自以為義，批評那些崇拜世界的事物卻不信上帝的人。
同時，我們也要以基督的愛，去關懷那些不認識祂的人。那麼，他們也會就像帖撒羅尼迦的信徒一樣，「離棄偶像，歸向上帝，要服事那又真又活的上帝。」（帖撒羅尼迦前書1章9節）WEC

Now while Paul waited for them at Athens, his spirit was stirred in him, when he saw the city wholly given to idolatry. wholly...: or, full of idols
17:17 於是在會堂裡與猶太人和虔敬的人，並每日在市上所遇見的人，辯論。
Therefore disputed he in the synagogue with the Jews, and with the devout persons, and in the market daily with them that met with him.
17:18 還有以彼古羅和斯多亞兩門的學士，與他爭論。有的說：這胡言亂語的要說甚麼？有的說：他似乎是傳說外邦鬼神的。這話是因保羅傳講耶穌與復活的道。

That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:
17:28 我們生活、動作、存留，都在乎他。就如你們作詩的，有人說：我們也是他所生的。For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
17:29 我們既是神所生的，就不當以為神的神性像人用手藝、心思所雕刻的金、銀、石。
Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.
17:30 世人蒙昧無知的時候，神並不監察，如今卻吩咐各處的人都要悔改。
And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
17:31 因為他已經定了日子，要藉著他所設立的人按公義審判天下，並且叫他從死裡復活，給萬人作可信的憑據。
Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men , in that he hath raised him from the dead. hath given...: or, offered faith

10:1 弟兄們，我不願意你們不曉得，我們的祖宗從前都在雲下，都從海中經過，
Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;
10:2 都在雲裡、海裡受洗歸了摩西；
and were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;
10:3 並且都吃了一樣的靈食，
And did all eat the same spiritual meat;
10:4 也都喝了一樣的靈水。所喝的，是出於隨著他們的靈磐石；那磐石就是基督。and did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ. followed...: or, went with them
10:5 但他們中間多半是神不喜歡的人，所以在曠野倒斃。
But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.
10:6 這些事都是我們的鑑戒，叫我們不要貪戀惡事，像他們那樣貪戀的；
Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted. our...: Gr. our figures
10:7 也不要拜偶像，像他們有人拜的。如經上所記：百姓坐下吃喝，起來玩耍。
Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.
10:8 我們也不要行姦淫，像他們有人行的，一天就倒斃了二萬三千人；
Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.
10:9 也不要試探主（有古卷：基督），像他們有人試探的，就被蛇所滅。
Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.
10:10 你們也不要發怨言，像他們有發怨言的，就被滅命的所滅。
Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.
10:11 他們遭遇這些事，都要作為鑑戒；並且寫在經上，正是警戒我們這末世的人。
Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. ensamples: or, types
10:12 所以，自己以為站得穩的，須要謹慎，免得跌倒。
wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.
10:13 你們所遇見的試探，無非是人所能受的。神是信實的，必不叫你們受試探過於所能受的；在受試探的時候，總要給你們開一條出路，叫你們能忍受得住。
where hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it . common...: or, moderate
「所以，自己以為站得穩的，須要謹慎，免得跌倒。」

And great multitudes were gathered together unto him, so that he went into a ship, and sat; and the whole multitude stood on the shore.
13:3 他用比喻對他們講許多道理，說：「有一個撒種的出去撒種；
And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow;13:4 撒的時候，有落在路旁的，飛鳥來吃盡了；
And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up:13:5 有落在土淺石頭地上的，土既不深，發苗最快，
Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth:
13:6 日頭出來一曬，因為沒有根，就枯乾了；And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.
13:7 有落在荊棘裡的，荊棘長起來，把它擠住了；And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them:
13:8 又有落在好土裡的，就結實，有一百倍的，有六十倍的，有三十倍的。
But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.
13:9 有耳可聽的，就應當聽！」
Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
13:10 門徒進前來，問耶穌說：「對眾人講話，為甚麼用比喻呢？」
And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?13:11 耶穌回答說：「因為天國的奧祕只叫你們知道，不叫他們知道。
He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
13:12 凡有的，還要加給他，叫他有餘；凡沒有的，連他所有的，也要奪去。
For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.
13:13 所以我用比喻對他們講，是因他們看也看不見，聽也聽不見，也不明白。
Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.
13:14 在他們身上，正應了以賽亞的預言，說：你們聽是要聽見，卻不明白；看是要看見，卻不曉得；
And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:
13:15 因為這百姓油蒙了心，耳朵發沉，眼睛閉著，恐怕眼睛看見，耳朵聽見，心裡明白，回轉過來，我就醫治他們。
For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
13:16 「但你們的眼睛是有福的，因為看見了；你們的耳朵也是有福的，因為聽見了。
But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.
13:17 我實在告訴你們，從前有許多先知和義人要看你們所看的，卻沒有看見，要聽你們所聽的，卻沒有聽見。」
For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them ; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them .
13:18 「所以，你們當聽這撒種的比喻。
Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.
13:19 凡聽見天國道理不明白的，那惡者就來，把所撒在他心裡的奪了去；這就是撒在路旁的了。
When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one , and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.
3:20 撒在石頭地上的，就是人聽了道，當下歡喜領受，
But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it;
13:21 只因心裡沒有根，不過是暫時的，及至為道遭了患難，或是受了逼迫，立刻就跌倒了。
Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. offended: he relapseth, or, falleth into sin
13:22 撒在荊棘裡的，就是人聽了道，後來有世上的思慮、錢財的迷惑把道擠住了，不能結實。
He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.
13:23 撒在好地上的，就是人聽道明白了，後來結實，有一百倍的，有六十倍的，有三十倍的。」
But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it ; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
13:24 耶穌又設個比喻對他們說：「天國好像人撒好種在田裡，
Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
13:25 及至人睡覺的時候，有仇敵來，將稗子撒在麥子裡就走了。
But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
13:26 到長苗吐穗的時候，稗子也顯出來。
But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
13:27 田主的僕人來告訴他說：『主啊，你不是撒好種在田裡嗎？從那裡來的稗子呢？』
So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
13:28 主人說：『這是仇敵做的。』僕人說：『你要我們去薅出來嗎？』
He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
13:29 主人說：『不必，恐怕薅稗子，連麥子也拔出來。
But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
13:30 容這兩樣一齊長，等著收割。當收割的時候，我要對收割的人說，先將稗子薅出來，捆成捆，留著燒；惟有麥子要收在倉裡。』」
Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
即使倍受尊重的公眾人物，也時有醜聞發生，我們雖深感失望，但卻不感到意外。當聽到名人或是朋友道德敗壞的消息時，我們應如何反應呢？
我們或許可以從檢視我們自己開始。一個世紀以前，章伯斯在倫敦的聖經訓練學院告訴他的學生：「永遠要儆醒留意這個事實：有人跌倒的地方，正是任何人都會跌倒之處……，自以為堅強卻輕忽不謹慎，這正是加倍的軟弱。」
章伯斯的話重申了保羅的告誡，當我們在看見他人的罪時，要注意自己的軟弱。保羅回顧了以色列人在曠野的悖逆之後（哥林多前書10章1-5節），力勸讀他的書信的人，要從這罪中學到教訓，以免重蹈覆轍（6-11節）。保羅寫道：「自己以為站得穩的，須要謹慎，免得跌倒」（12節）。這裡所著眼的並非過去的失敗，而是針對眼前的驕傲。

讀經 : 哥林多前書 10 : 1~13
1 Corinthians 10 : 1~13
10:1 弟兄們，我不願意你們不曉得，我們的祖宗從前都在雲下，都從海中經過，
Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;
10:2 都在雲裡、海裡受洗歸了摩西；
and were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;
10:3 並且都吃了一樣的靈食，
And did all eat the same spiritual meat;
10:4 也都喝了一樣的靈水。所喝的，是出於隨著他們的靈磐石；那磐石就是基督。and did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ. followed...: or, went with them
10:5 但他們中間多半是神不喜歡的人，所以在曠野倒斃。
But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.
10:6 這些事都是我們的鑑戒，叫我們不要貪戀惡事，像他們那樣貪戀的；
Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted. our...: Gr. our figures
10:7 也不要拜偶像，像他們有人拜的。如經上所記：百姓坐下吃喝，起來玩耍。
Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.
10:8 我們也不要行姦淫，像他們有人行的，一天就倒斃了二萬三千人；
Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.
10:9 也不要試探主（有古卷：基督），像他們有人試探的，就被蛇所滅。
Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.
10:10 你們也不要發怨言，像他們有發怨言的，就被滅命的所滅。
Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.
10:11 他們遭遇這些事，都要作為鑑戒；並且寫在經上，正是警戒我們這末世的人。
Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. ensamples: or, types
10:12 所以，自己以為站得穩的，須要謹慎，免得跌倒。
wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.
10:13 你們所遇見的試探，無非是人所能受的。神是信實的，必不叫你們受試探過於所能受的；在受試探的時候，總要給你們開一條出路，叫你們能忍受得住。
where hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it . common...: or, moderate

And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow;13:4 撒的時候，有落在路旁的，飛鳥來吃盡了；
And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up:13:5 有落在土淺石頭地上的，土既不深，發苗最快，
Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth:
13:6 日頭出來一曬，因為沒有根，就枯乾了；And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.
13:7 有落在荊棘裡的，荊棘長起來，把它擠住了；And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them:
13:8 又有落在好土裡的，就結實，有一百倍的，有六十倍的，有三十倍的。
But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.
13:9 有耳可聽的，就應當聽！」
Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
13:10 門徒進前來，問耶穌說：「對眾人講話，為甚麼用比喻呢？」
And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?13:11 耶穌回答說：「因為天國的奧祕只叫你們知道，不叫他們知道。
He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
13:12 凡有的，還要加給他，叫他有餘；凡沒有的，連他所有的，也要奪去。
For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.
13:13 所以我用比喻對他們講，是因他們看也看不見，聽也聽不見，也不明白。
Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.
13:14 在他們身上，正應了以賽亞的預言，說：你們聽是要聽見，卻不明白；看是要看見，卻不曉得；
And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:
13:15 因為這百姓油蒙了心，耳朵發沉，眼睛閉著，恐怕眼睛看見，耳朵聽見，心裡明白，回轉過來，我就醫治他們。
For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
13:16 「但你們的眼睛是有福的，因為看見了；你們的耳朵也是有福的，因為聽見了。
But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.
13:17 我實在告訴你們，從前有許多先知和義人要看你們所看的，卻沒有看見，要聽你們所聽的，卻沒有聽見。」
For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them ; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them .
13:18 「所以，你們當聽這撒種的比喻。
Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.
13:19 凡聽見天國道理不明白的，那惡者就來，把所撒在他心裡的奪了去；這就是撒在路旁的了。
When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one , and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.
3:20 撒在石頭地上的，就是人聽了道，當下歡喜領受，
But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it;
13:21 只因心裡沒有根，不過是暫時的，及至為道遭了患難，或是受了逼迫，立刻就跌倒了。
Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. offended: he relapseth, or, falleth into sin
13:22 撒在荊棘裡的，就是人聽了道，後來有世上的思慮、錢財的迷惑把道擠住了，不能結實。
He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.
13:23 撒在好地上的，就是人聽道明白了，後來結實，有一百倍的，有六十倍的，有三十倍的。」
But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it ; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
13:24 耶穌又設個比喻對他們說：「天國好像人撒好種在田裡，
Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
13:25 及至人睡覺的時候，有仇敵來，將稗子撒在麥子裡就走了。
But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
13:26 到長苗吐穗的時候，稗子也顯出來。
But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
13:27 田主的僕人來告訴他說：『主啊，你不是撒好種在田裡嗎？從那裡來的稗子呢？』
So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
13:28 主人說：『這是仇敵做的。』僕人說：『你要我們去薅出來嗎？』
He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
13:29 主人說：『不必，恐怕薅稗子，連麥子也拔出來。
But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
13:30 容這兩樣一齊長，等著收割。當收割的時候，我要對收割的人說，先將稗子薅出來，捆成捆，留著燒；惟有麥子要收在倉裡。』」
Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
即使倍受尊重的公眾人物，也時有醜聞發生，我們雖深感失望，但卻不感到意外。當聽到名人或是朋友道德敗壞的消息時，我們應如何反應呢？
我們或許可以從檢視我們自己開始。一個世紀以前，章伯斯在倫敦的聖經訓練學院告訴他的學生：「永遠要儆醒留意這個事實：有人跌倒的地方，正是任何人都會跌倒之處……，自以為堅強卻輕忽不謹慎，這正是加倍的軟弱。」
章伯斯的話重申了保羅的告誡，當我們在看見他人的罪時，要注意自己的軟弱。保羅回顧了以色列人在曠野的悖逆之後（哥林多前書10章1-5節），力勸讀他的書信的人，要從這罪中學到教訓，以免重蹈覆轍（6-11節）。保羅寫道：「自己以為站得穩的，須要謹慎，免得跌倒」（12節）。這裡所著眼的並非過去的失敗，而是針對眼前的驕傲。

31:31 耶和華說：「日子將到，我要與以色列家和猶大家另立新約，
Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
31:32 不像我拉著他們祖宗的手，領他們出埃及地的時候，與他們所立的約。我雖作他們的丈夫，他們卻背了我的約。這是耶和華說的。」
Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: although...: or, should I have continued an husband unto them?
31:33 耶和華說：「那些日子以後，我與以色列家所立的約乃是這樣：我要將我的律法放在他們裡面，寫在他們心上。我要作他們的神，他們要作我的子民。
But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
31:34 他們各人不再教導自己的鄰舍和自己的弟兄說：『你該認識耶和華』，因為他們從最小的到至大的都必認識我。我要赦免他們的罪孽，不再記念他們的罪惡。這是耶和華說的。」
And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

3:3 你們明顯是基督的信，藉著我們修成的。不是用墨寫的，乃是用永生神的靈寫的；不是寫在石版上，乃是寫在心版上。
Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

12:25 耶穌知道他們的意念，就對他們說：「凡一國自相紛爭，就成為荒場；一城一家自相紛爭，必站立不住；
And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:
12:26 若撒但趕逐撒但，就是自相紛爭，他的國怎能站得住呢？
And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?
12:27 我若靠著別西卜趕鬼，你們的子弟趕鬼又靠著誰呢？這樣，他們就要斷定你們的是非。
And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges.
12:28 我若靠著神的靈趕鬼，這就是神的國臨到你們了。
But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.
12:29 人怎能進壯士家裡，搶奪他的家具呢？除非先捆住那壯士，才可以搶奪他的家財。
Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house.
12:30 不與我相合的，就是敵我的；不同我收聚的，就是分散的。」
He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.
12:31 所以我告訴你們：「人一切的罪和褻瀆的話都可得赦免，惟獨褻瀆聖靈，總不得赦免。
Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
12:32 凡說話干犯人子的，還可得赦免；惟獨說話干犯聖靈的，今世來世總不得赦免。」
And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
12:33 「你們或以為樹好，果子也好；樹壞，果子也壞；因為看果子就可以知道樹。
Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.
12:34 毒蛇的種類！你們既是惡人，怎能說出好話來呢？因為心裡所充滿的，口裡就說出來。
O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
12:35 善人從他心裡所存的善就發出善來；惡人從他心裡所存的惡就發出惡來。
A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
12:36 我又告訴你們，凡人所說的閒話，當審判的日子，必要句句供出來；
But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
12:37 因為要憑你的話定你為義，也要憑你的話定你有罪。」
For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
12:38 當時，有幾個文士和法利賽人對耶穌說：「夫子，我們願意你顯個神蹟給我們看。」
Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee.
12:39 耶穌回答說：「一個邪惡淫亂的世代求看神蹟，除了先知約拿的神蹟以外，再沒有神蹟給他們看。
But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:
12:40 約拿三日三夜在大魚肚腹中，人子也要這樣三日三夜在地裡頭。
For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
12:41 當審判的時候，尼尼微人要起來定這世代的罪，因為尼尼微人聽了約拿所傳的就悔改了。看哪，在這裡有一人比約拿更大！
The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.
12:42 當審判的時候，南方的女王要起來定這世代的罪，因為她從地極而來，要聽所羅門的智慧話。看哪！在這裡有一人比所羅門更大。」
The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.
12:43 「污鬼離了人身，就在無水之地過來過去，尋求安歇之處，卻尋不著。
When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.
12:44 於是說：『我要回到我所出來的屋裡去。』到了，就看見裡面空閒，打掃乾淨，修飾好了，
Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.
12:45 便去另帶了七個比自己更惡的鬼來，都進去住在那裡。那人末後的景況比先前更不好了。這邪惡的世代也要如此。」
Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.
12:46 耶穌還對眾人說話的時候，不料他母親和他弟兄站在外邊，要與他說話。
While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him.
12:47 有人告訴他說：「看哪，你母親和你弟兄站在外邊，要與你說話。」
Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee.
12:48 他卻回答那人說：「誰是我的母親？誰是我的弟兄？」
But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?
12:49 就伸手指著門徒，說：「看哪，我的母親，我的弟兄。
And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!
12:50 凡遵行我天父旨意的人，就是我的弟兄姊妹和母親了。」
For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.
由於我是個作家，偶爾會有朋友對我說：「我哪天也要寫本書。」
「這是值得去做的事。」我回答：「我希望你真的能寫出一本書，但是，如果你能將自己的生命變成一本書，會比寫一本更好。」
因為我想到使徒保羅所說的話：「你們明顯是基督的信……不是用墨寫的，乃是用永生上帝的靈寫的；不是寫在石版上，乃是寫在心版上。」（哥林多後書3章3節）
英國國王詹姆斯一世的主教路易斯貝理，在其著作《敬虔的實踐》中提及「想以寫作帶來正面影響的人」會發現他「能影響的層面非常少……因此最有力量的宣揚良善工具就是身教……千裡挑一的人能寫本書影響鄰居……但每一個人都能成為旁人活生生的美好典範。」
基督在信徒心中所做的工，其產生的影響能遠超過他們所寫的書。經由上帝的話語寫在他們的「心上」（耶利米書31章33節），主展現了祂的慈愛與良善，並讓所有的人都能看見。
身為基督徒，你也許永不會寫出一本書，但因著為上帝而活，你就成了一本敞開的書、一封「基督的信」，讓所有的人可閱讀。DHR

Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house.

Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.

And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
12:33 「你們或以為樹好，果子也好；樹壞，果子也壞；因為看果子就可以知道樹。
Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.
12:34 毒蛇的種類！你們既是惡人，怎能說出好話來呢？因為心裡所充滿的，口裡就說出來。
O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
12:35 善人從他心裡所存的善就發出善來；惡人從他心裡所存的惡就發出惡來。
A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
12:36 我又告訴你們，凡人所說的閒話，當審判的日子，必要句句供出來；
But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
12:37 因為要憑你的話定你為義，也要憑你的話定你有罪。」
For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
12:38 當時，有幾個文士和法利賽人對耶穌說：「夫子，我們願意你顯個神蹟給我們看。」
Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee.

But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:
12:40 約拿三日三夜在大魚肚腹中，人子也要這樣三日三夜在地裡頭。
For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
12:41 當審判的時候，尼尼微人要起來定這世代的罪，因為尼尼微人聽了約拿所傳的就悔改了。看哪，在這裡有一人比約拿更大！
The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.
12:42 當審判的時候，南方的女王要起來定這世代的罪，因為她從地極而來，要聽所羅門的智慧話。看哪！在這裡有一人比所羅門更大。」
The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.
12:43 「污鬼離了人身，就在無水之地過來過去，尋求安歇之處，卻尋不著。
When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.
12:44 於是說：『我要回到我所出來的屋裡去。』到了，就看見裡面空閒，打掃乾淨，修飾好了，
Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.
12:45 便去另帶了七個比自己更惡的鬼來，都進去住在那裡。那人末後的景況比先前更不好了。這邪惡的世代也要如此。」
Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.
12:46 耶穌還對眾人說話的時候，不料他母親和他弟兄站在外邊，要與他說話。
While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him.
12:47 有人告訴他說：「看哪，你母親和你弟兄站在外邊，要與你說話。」
Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee.
12:48 他卻回答那人說：「誰是我的母親？誰是我的弟兄？」
But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?
12:49 就伸手指著門徒，說：「看哪，我的母親，我的弟兄。
And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!
12:50 凡遵行我天父旨意的人，就是我的弟兄姊妹和母親了。」
For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

英國國王詹姆斯一世的主教路易斯貝理，在其著作《敬虔的實踐》中提及「想以寫作帶來正面影響的人」會發現他「能影響的層面非常少……因此最有力量的宣揚良善工具就是身教……千裡挑一的人能寫本書影響鄰居……但每一個人都能成為旁人活生生的美好典範。」
基督在信徒心中所做的工，其產生的影響能遠超過他們所寫的書。經由上帝的話語寫在他們的「心上」（耶利米書31章33節），主展現了祂的慈愛與良善，並讓所有的人都能看見。
身為基督徒，你也許永不會寫出一本書，但因著為上帝而活，你就成了一本敞開的書、一封「基督的信」，讓所有的人可閱讀。DHR
