約翰壹書 1 : 4~9 1 John 1 : 4~9
1:4 我們將這些話寫給你們，使你們（有古卷作：我們）的喜樂充足。
And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.
1:5 　神就是光，在他毫無黑暗。這是我們從主所聽見、又報給你們的信息。
This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
1:6 我們若說是與　神相交，卻仍在黑暗裡行，就是說謊話，不行真理了。
If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
1:7 我們若在光明中行，如同　神在光明中，就彼此相交，他兒子耶穌的血也洗淨我們一切的罪。
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
1:8 我們若說自己無罪，便是自欺，真理不在我們心裡了。
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
1:9 我們若認自己的罪，　神是信實的，是公義的，必要赦免我們的罪，洗淨我們一切的不義。
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

詩篇 51 : 1~19 Psalms 51 : 1~19
51:1 （大衛與拔示巴同室以後，先知拿單來見他；他作這詩，交與伶長。）　神啊，求你按你的慈愛憐恤我！按你豐盛的慈悲塗抹我的過犯！
To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David, when Nathan the prophet came unto him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba. Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.
51:2 求你將我的罪孽洗除淨盡，並潔除我的罪！
Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
51:3 因為，我知道我的過犯；我的罪常在我面前。
For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.
51:4 我向你犯罪，惟獨得罪了你；在你眼前行了這惡，以致你責備我的時候顯為公義，判斷我的時候顯為清正。
Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.
51:5 我是在罪孽裡生的，在我母親懷胎的時候就有了罪。Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. conceive...: Heb. warm me
51:6 你所喜愛的是內裡誠實；你在我隱密處，必使我得智慧。Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.
51:7 求你用牛膝草潔淨我，我就乾淨；求你洗滌我，我就比雪更白。Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
51:8 求你使我得聽歡喜快樂的聲音，使你所壓傷的骨頭可以踴躍。Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.
51:9 求你掩面不看我的罪，塗抹我一切的罪孽。Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.
51:10 　神啊，求你為我造清潔的心，使我裡面重新有正直（或譯：堅定）的靈。
Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. right: or, constant
51:11 不要丟棄我，使我離開你的面；不要從我收回你的聖靈。Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
51:12 求你使我仍得救恩之樂，賜我樂意的靈扶持我，Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.
51:13 我就把你的道指教有過犯的人，罪人必歸順你。
Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.
51:14 　神啊，你是拯救我的　神；求你救我脫離流人血的罪！我的舌頭就高聲歌唱你的公義。
Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness. bloodguiltiness: Heb. bloods
51:15 主啊，求你使我嘴唇張開，我的口便傳揚讚美你的話！O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.
51:16 你本不喜愛祭物，若喜愛，我就獻上；燔祭，你也不喜悅。For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it : thou delightest not in burnt offering. else...: or, that I should
51:17 　神所要的祭就是憂傷的靈；　神啊，憂傷痛悔的心，你必不輕看。
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
51:18 求你隨你的美意善待錫安，建造耶路撒冷的城牆。
Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem.
51:19 那時，你必喜愛公義的祭和燔祭並全牲的燔祭；那時，人必將公牛獻在你壇上。
Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar.
