讀經 : 撒母耳記上 1 : 1~18 1 Samuel 1 : 1~18

1:1 以法蓮山地的拉瑪．瑣非有一個以法蓮人，名叫以利加拿，是蘇弗的玄孫，託戶的曾孫，以利戶的孫子，耶羅罕的兒子。
Now there was a certain man of Ramathaimzophim, of mount Ephraim, and his name was Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Elihu, the son of Tohu, the son of Zuph, an Ephrathite:
1:2 他有兩個妻，一名哈拿，一名毗尼拿。毗尼拿有兒女，哈拿沒有兒女。And he had two wives; the name of the one was Hannah, and the name of the other Peninnah: and Peninnah had children, but Hannah had no children.
1:3 這人每年從本城上到示羅，敬拜祭祀萬軍之耶和華；在那裡有以利的兩個兒子何弗尼、非尼哈當耶和華的祭司。
And this man went up out of his city yearly to worship and to sacrifice unto the LORD of hosts in Shiloh. And the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, the priests of the LORD, were there. yearly: Heb. from year to year
1:4 以利加拿每逢獻祭的日子，將祭肉分給他的妻毗尼拿和毗尼拿所生的兒女；And when the time was that Elkanah offered, he gave to Peninnah his wife, and to all her sons and her daughters, portions:
1:5 給哈拿的卻是雙分，因為他愛哈拿。無奈耶和華不使哈拿生育。
But unto Hannah he gave a worthy portion; for he loved Hannah: but the LORD had shut up her womb. worthy: or, double
1:6 毗尼拿見耶和華不使哈拿生育，就作她的對頭，大大激動她，要使她生氣。And her adversary also provoked her sore, for to make her fret, because the LORD had shut up her womb. provoked: Heb. angered
1:7 每年上到耶和華殿的時候，以利加拿都以雙分給哈拿；毗尼拿仍是激動她，以致她哭泣不吃飯。
And as he did so year by year, when she went up to the house of the LORD, so she provoked her; therefore she wept, and did not eat. when...: or, from the time that she, etc: Heb. from her going up
1:8 她丈夫以利加拿對她說：「哈拿啊，你為何哭泣，不吃飯，心裡愁悶呢？有我不比十個兒子還好嗎？」
Then said Elkanah her husband to her, Hannah, why weepest thou? and why eatest thou not? and why is thy heart grieved? am not I better to thee than ten sons?
1:9 他們在示羅吃喝完了，哈拿就站起來。祭司以利在耶和華殿的門框旁邊，坐在自己的位上。
So Hannah rose up after they had eaten in Shiloh, and after they had drunk. Now Eli the priest sat upon a seat by a post of the temple of the LORD.
1:10 哈拿心裡愁苦，就痛痛哭泣，祈禱耶和華，
And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore. in...: Heb. bitter of soul
1:11 許願說：「萬軍之耶和華啊，你若垂顧婢女的苦情，眷念不忘婢女，賜我一個兒子，我必使他終身歸與耶和華，不用剃頭刀剃他的頭。」
And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head. a man...: Heb. seed of men
1:12 哈拿在耶和華面前不住地祈禱，以利定睛看她的嘴。
And it came to pass, as she continued praying before the LORD, that Eli marked her mouth. continued...: Heb. multiplied to pray
1:13 （原來哈拿心中默禱，只動嘴唇，不出聲音，因此以利以為她喝醉了。）
Now Hannah, she spake in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard: therefore Eli thought she had been drunken.
1:14 以利對她說：「你要醉到幾時呢？你不應該喝酒。」
And Eli said unto her, How long wilt thou be drunken? put away thy wine from thee.
1:15 哈拿回答說：「主啊，不是這樣。我是心裡愁苦的婦人，清酒濃酒都沒有喝，但在耶和華面前傾心吐意。
And Hannah answered and said, No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured out my soul before the LORD. of a sorrowful...: Heb. hard of spirit
1:16 不要將婢女看作不正經的女子。我因被人激動，愁苦太多，所以祈求到如今。」
Count not thine handmaid for a daughter of Belial: for out of the abundance of my complaint and grief have I spoken hitherto. complaint: or, meditation
1:17 以利說：「你可以平平安安地回去。願以色列的　神允准你向他所求的！」
Then Eli answered and said, Go in peace: and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou hast asked of him.
1:18 哈拿說：「願婢女在你眼前蒙恩。」於是婦人走去吃飯，面上再不帶愁容了。
And she said, Let thine handmaid find grace in thy sight. So the woman went her way, and did eat, and her countenance was no more sad .

很少有事情能像資深員工的批評一般，使新同事表現不佳。好的人事主管知道這一點，會在新員工周遭安插良師益友，保護他們不會受到無謂的刺傷。
哈拿是一位良師益友，為我們示範如何處理別人的批評，以及自己內心的渴望（撒母耳記上1章1-18節）。圍繞在哈拿身邊的是不理解她的丈夫、奚落她的同輩、太快下定論的祭司。哈拿藉由對上帝傾心吐意，度過迷霧籠罩的幽暗（10節），現在我們雖已知道上帝賜哈拿一子，以回應她心中的禱告，卻仍不確定以利的祝福是個心願，還是從上帝而來的應許（17節），但我想最重要的是她不再憂愁滿面，因為她對上帝傾心吐意，內心就得到平安。
上帝創造我們，讓我們和祂建立起關係。當我們與祂的關係更親密時，不只是能體驗祂的同在，更能從祂那裡得力量。無疑的，上帝樂意聆聽我們向祂傾訴內心的傷害和情緒困擾，因為這表達了我們對祂的信任。當我們把自己的困擾──不論是別人的批評，或是內心深處的渴望，都已交託給最有辦法整理頭緒的上帝時，我們總能發現新的眼光，也得著安慰。RK
