讀經 : 以賽亞書 31 : 1~5 Isaiah 31 : 1~5

31:1 禍哉！那些下埃及求幫助的，是因仗賴馬匹，倚靠甚多的車輛，並倚靠強壯的馬兵，卻不仰望以色列的聖者，
也不求問耶和華。
Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the LORD!
31:2 其實，耶和華有智慧；他必降災禍，並不反悔自己的話，卻要興起攻擊那作惡之家，又攻擊那作孽幫助人的。
Yet he also is wise, and will bring evil, and will not call back his words: but will arise against the house of the evildoers, and against the help of them that work iniquity. call...: Heb. remove
31:3 埃及人不過是人，並不是　神；他們的馬不過是血肉，並不是靈。耶和華一伸手，那幫助人的必絆跌，那受幫助的也必跌倒，都一同滅亡。Now the Egyptians are men, and not God; and their horses flesh, and not spirit. When the LORD shall stretch out his hand, both he that helpeth shall fall, and he that is holpen shall fall down, and they all shall fail together.
31:4 耶和華對我如此說：獅子和少壯獅子護食咆哮，就是喊許多牧人來攻擊牠，牠總不因他們的聲音驚惶，也不因他們的喧嘩縮伏。如此，萬軍之耶和華也必降臨在錫安山岡上爭戰。
For thus hath the LORD spoken unto me, Like as the lion and the young lion roaring on his prey, when a multitude of shepherds is called forth against him, he will not be afraid of their voice, nor abase himself for the noise of them: so shall the LORD of hosts come down to fight for mount Zion, and for the hill thereof. noise: or, multitude
31:5 雀鳥怎樣搧翅覆雛，萬軍之耶和華也要照樣保護耶路撒冷。他必保護拯救，要越門保守。
As birds flying, so will the LORD of hosts defend Jerusalem; defending also he will deliver it; and passing over he will preserve it.

5:5 長老中有一位對我說：不要哭。看哪，猶大支派中的獅子，大衛的根，他已得勝，能以展開那書卷，揭開那七印。
And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

在肯亞的馬賽馬拉國家動物保護區裡，慵懶的獅子看起來似乎不具威脅性。牠們在低矮的灌木叢間翻滾；在枝椏間摩擦臉頰，好像想要梳理美麗的鬃髮；牠們閒散地在溪邊喝水，漫步經過荒蕪的乾地，好像全世界的時間都是牠們的。只有在其中一隻獅子打了個呵欠時，我才看見牠們的牙齒。
不過，這副雍容閒雅的樣子是一種假象。牠們之所以這麼輕鬆是因為沒有什麼事值得懼怕擔憂，牠們不缺乏食物，也沒有天敵。這些獅子看起來懶散、無精打采，而牠們卻是萬獸之中最強壯、兇猛的野獸，只要一聲咆哮，所有的動物全都飛也似的奔竄逃命。
有時候，我們似乎覺得上帝很慵懶，不見祂動工，我們就說祂什麼都不做。聽見別人嘲笑上帝，否認祂的存在，便急著想知道為何祂不為自己辯護。
以賽亞書 31 : 4 Isaiah 31 : 4 耶和華對我如此說：獅子和少壯獅子護食咆哮，就是喊許多牧人來攻擊牠，牠總不因他們的聲音驚惶，也不因他們的喧嘩縮伏。如此，萬軍之耶和華也必降臨在錫安山岡上爭戰。

但是上帝沒有什麼事值得祂懼怕擔憂，只要一聲咆哮，貶斥祂的人就會沒命似的鼠竄飛奔。
假如你百思不解：為什麼上帝不像你一樣擔心焦急？須知此乃是因為祂掌管萬有，祂知道耶穌──猶大的獅子，必定得勝。JAL
懼怕憂慮試探信心，
焦躁心思前來攻擊；
記住上帝仍掌全局，
